Triton EV is a US-based Electric Vehicle manufacturer. It recently announced its plans to set up a manufacturing facility in Telangana. The carmaker Showcased its 8-seater Model H electric SUV in Hyderabad.
Model H is a massive SUV with 5,690 mm in length, 2,057 mm in height, and 1,880 mm in width and luggage space of 5,663 liters. Triton EV claims that Model H has a range of 1200 Km at full charge. It is powered by a 200kWh battery pack. It is driven by four motors that combined generate 1,500 horsepower. Triton claims that the car can go from 0-96 kilometers in 2.9 seconds.
The Triton Model H SUV will be offered in seven color options. In the US, Model H costs $1,40,000 (approx. ₹1.05 crore). Triton EV Model H price in India is yet to be announced.
Triton’s upcoming facility is being built in Zahirabad area at an investment of 1.5 billion dollars. In the next few months, Triton will be investing 300 million dollars. It claims that it had already received purchase orders worth 2.4 billion dollars from India.
